St. David’s Foundation Community Garden

These unique steel structures with Lascolite fiberglass reinforced plastic panels were designed by the talented team at Stanley Studio. We cut each panel to size and the folks at Sherwin Williams helped us figure out how to paint this material, which was new for us. The pavilions serve as gathering spaces and areas where children are taught about growing nutritious, affordable food, which is part of the Sustainable Food Center’s mission.

At Windcrest, we love to participate in creating spaces that enrich our community and add value to our city’s social fabric. According to the Center’s website, “Through organic food gardening, relationships with area farmers, interactive cooking classes and nutrition education, children and adults have increased access to locally grown food and are empowered to improve the long-term health of Central Texans and our environment.”
